 CHARLEE responded to the need for a short term evaluation and treatment center for sexually abused girls who are entering the child welfare system with the opening of the Gladstone Center for Girls in 1994. The Gladstone Center for Girls provides quality residential care while our professional support staff conduct medical, psychological, and educational assessments. While the children reside at this beautiful 20 bed facility, our multi-disciplinary treatment team evaluates each child, her family and available placement possibilities. After-care case management, court services, educational support and therapeutic follow-up are continued for children who leave the Center.
